The Martínez Corta family works its own vineyards since 4 generations. They are settled in Uruñuela, a tiny village of less than 1,000 inhabitants of Rioja Alta subregion. This Cepas Antiguas Selección Privada 2010 is made just with Tempranillo grapes from 70-years-old vines. After a double maceration, the wine goes into new French barrels, where it completes malolactic fermentation and a 7 months ageing. The result is this elegant, balanced and pleasant wine of an excellent vintage.

Vintage tasted: 2010 (November 2012)
