Campo de Borja region in general and particularly Bodegas Aragonesas can offer some of the more special Garnachas, attending to its quality and very old age. Planted in two estates of the slopes of Moncayo massif, the grapes used for Coto de Hayas Garnacha Centenaria are the key for this powerful but easy-to-drink wine. Its vinification includes a 10 days maceration and a three months of French oak ageing, when the malolactic fermentation is done. This wine is a perfect match for BBQ and almost any red meat recipe you can imagine.

Vintage tasted: 2011 (January 2013)
